Caitlin Jones
Cardiac Sonographer (Christchurch)
Born in Scotland, Caitlin moved to New Zealand at a young age and was raised in Ōpōtiki in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Her and her family now calls North Canterbury home.
Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Technology (Cardiology) from the University of Otago, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound (Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology.
With over a decade of experience at Christchurch Hospital, Caitlin began her career as a Cardiac Physiologist before transitioning into Cardiac Ultrasound. Now serving as the Section Head of Echocardiography, all of her training has been completed through Christchurch Hospital.
Outside of work, Caitlin is a Soprano with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra Chorus and enjoys reading with a good cup of tea.
